i miss it though, i lived there from the time i was 12 till i was 19
been a bit ago, but i had went back for a visit in 2004, and that is when i took this shot...

2007-04-24 [Paul Doyle]: As a US Navy kid, I lived in Chula Vista from 1973-78 and 1980-82. Good times, great memories . . . and now it's far too expensive for me to relocate there, though New England's cost of living is nearly as bad.

2007-04-24 [Cia_mar]: that is the truth... i ahve lived in new jersey and i agree it matters not which coast you are on , the cost of living seems to go up no matter what
i am familiar with marine/navy living, i was a marine brat and a navy wife... at camp pen...lol

2007-05-19 [Iske]: they splached it all out lol but when you look close it's there , there were smaller kids there too at the time... and you can't fill it up completly then

2007-05-19 [Paul Doyle]: Ah, OK. Perhaps it was so hot that some of the water turned to steam, and evaporated ;-)
